Food Exploration Seminar "Uma-mo" - What is the future DHA-rich umami seasoning developed to solve ocean problems?

Menu contents
We will be holding a food exploration seminar with the themes of learning, discovery, and deliciousness, where participants will be able to appreciate the essence of food with all five senses, while being considerate of producers and the environment and facing the act of eating. This time, we have invited Daichi Takada, CEO of AlgaleX, as the guest speaker, to talk about the issues facing the ocean and future initiatives. After the seminar, we will be serving a limited-time special lunch using "Uma-mo" seaweed.

What is "Umamo"?
This small seaweed, native to Okinawa, was born from the desire to preserve the ocean's resources for the future. It contains 13 times the DHA of blue fish! This plant-based, natural umami seasoning is a delicious addition to any dish.

What is AlgaleX?
"Is it possible to produce DHA without reducing fish consumption?" This company was founded by a former businessman from a trading company and an academic from Tsukuba University to realize this idea. Based on a unique algae fermentation technology that uses unused resources, we will supply various nutrients from Okinawa to the world.
