This is a handmade pickling class hosted by Saikaya, a specialty pickling shop, using "Milky Queen," the finest rice from Ibaraki Prefecture. Milky Queen rice bran is exceptionally sweet and mild. This workshop allows you to experience and take home the deliciousness of pickles you make yourself.

Participation fee
5,500 yen per person (tax included)
*You will receive approximately 2 kg of aged rice bran paste that can be used from that day, as well as a basic batch of pickles to make that day.

Target age
None. *If a child wishes to participate, please have a parent or guardian accompany and support them.

Items to bring (please bring them with you)
• Bandana (triangular scarf) *Please bring one if you are concerned about hair or other debris getting into your pickles.
• Towel *Please bring one as rice bran may stick to your hands and belongings.
• Shopping bag for taking home items. *The size of the container for the pickles we provide is 17.8cm wide x 24cm long x 12cm high.

・We will disclose the information you provide when applying to the event organizer (Saikaya). By applying, you are deemed to have consented to the disclosure of your information. Personally identifiable information such as your name that you provide will be used for the following purposes.
1. For the purpose of managing applicants, verifying eligibility, contacting successful applicants, and ensuring the smooth operation of the program.
2. To inform you about special events, benefits, new products, etc.
3. For marketing research and analysis related to our business operations.
・Photos taken on the day may be published in the media. If you do not want your photos to be used, please inform a staff member.
We are unable to accommodate food allergies. If you have a history of allergic reactions, please participate at your own discretion.
・Your clothes may get dirty during the workshop, so please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.
This workshop will be conducted in Japanese only.
