Moon viewing dumpling making workshop

This year's Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Monday, October 6th. This is said to be the most beautiful month of the year, and in preparation for this day, which is customarily spent viewing the moon, Azabudai Hills will be holding a moon viewing dango workshop.

This workshop involves making three-colored dumplings using saffron, spinach, kale, and other leafy vegetables harvested from the vegetable gardens within Azabudai Hills Orchard. Parents and children can participate in this dumpling-making experience class and have fun learning about Japanese customs!
You can also enjoy the "moon viewing" experience by eating the dumplings made on the day in the outdoor orchard, which is usually closed to the public.
*Please note that it may not be visible depending on the weather and the position of the moon on the day.
*Entry to the orchard will be canceled in the event of rain.

Date and time: Monday, October 6, 2025, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
*Those who participate in the workshop after the event ends until 8:00 p.m. will be able to enter the orchard.
